Safety + Accessibility
We are deeply committed to fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all attendees. We will be working with Sequeerity to provide security for the ConFluence spaces, and all volunteers will be maintaining a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of harassment, discrimination, or harmful behavior––which will be swiftly addressed. Our programming and panel discussions are designed to celebrate diversity and amplify BIPOC voices within the sci-fi/fantasy community.
The Northrup King Building has one passenger elevator and an ADA compliant ramp, as well as ample free parking around the building. We encourage attendees to reach out (hello@confluencemn.com) if they have any specific accessibility requirements, and we will do our best to ensure all needs are met. By working together as a community, we can create an inclusive and welcoming space that is memorable and enjoyable for all attendees at ConFluence.
Covid-19 Policy: Testing and Masking are important forms of care. Masks are encouraged at ConFluence, but not required. We strongly recommend that folks have a negative Covid-19 test within 48 hours of attending ConFluence. Tests can be order for free at www.covidtests.gov and in Minneapolis/St. Paul by visiting @maskbloc_msp on Instagram or emailing MaskBlocMSP@gmail.com. We are currently working on the possibility of two game rooms where one room is masks required and the other is masks strongly encouraged. The gaming committee will be meeting to determine space and setup for this possibility.
Scholarships Available
Check back in early 2025 for more information on applying for support to attend ConFluence. We have a limited scholarships for folks experiencing financial hardship.
